Application: 1. Synthetic resins: improve compatibility and dryness 2. Thinner (1) In the oily system: significantly reduce the odor, have a good solubility on epoxy, acrylic, polyurethane, polyester and other resins , and meanwhile as the end volatile solvent of the coating. Additive amount 3-5%, 10-15% as diluent in summer. (2) In water-based -NCO curing agent: the smell is low, no bubbles, improve the luster, but the dissolution power is not strong compared with PMA. Topcoat with PGDA dilution pays attention to avoid wet spray wet process to prevent affecting the drying and curing of the primer,therefore, causing the top coat slight wrinkle and gloss loss because of high boiling point of PGDA. It carries on top coating after the primer dries, then there will be no problem. 3. Coalescing agent (1) In the water-based emulsion system: can adjust the dryness, used as a volatile agent at the end, adjust the gloss and ensure the leveling. (2) In water-soluble systems: used together with other alcohol ether esters as a co-solvent to significantly reduce odor and improve leveling. (3) Excellent film forming property: It can partially replace DPNB, pure ester 12, EB, PM, DPM, DPNP, PPH, EEP, CAC, gamalactone, n-propyl acetate, diol butyl ether acetate, etc.; 4. Binding agent PGDA can also be used to manufacture various adhesives, such as epoxy resin glue, PU glue, etc. Due to the high viscosity of PGDA, it enables adhesives to have good adhesion and durability, making them more suitable for bonding various materials and use in harsh environments. |
